The industry was saddened to learn of the passing of Paul Maley on May 17 of this year.
Paul was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, in 1934. In 1955, he joined Canadian Motorways, and
held various positions throughout his 29-year career, working in Estevan, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Toronto. Beginning in 1991 until his retirement, Paul worked for Kindersley Transport.
Paul was an active participant in civic and business organizations throughout his working life. He held senior offices in both the Manitoba Trucking Association and the Canadian Trucking Alliance, was Chairman of the Winnipeg Business Development Corporation, President of the Winnipeg Transportation Club, and a director of the Allied Van Lines Ltd. and Junior Achievement Manitoba.
Paul leaves his wife Loretta, son Grant (grandsons Graham and Adam) and daughter Janet (Bruce). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Lung Association.
