The Saskatchewan Trucking Association (STA) is the leader and voice for truck transport in the province of Saskatchewan. As proactive trusted advisors, the STA is a knowledgeable membership association that represents the collective interests of the trucking industry and trucking-related businesses operating in Saskatchewan through authentic advocacy and education to various levels of government.
The STA is concerned with issues at the local, provincial, federal, and international levels that affect the industry, such as weights and dimensions, infrastructure, regulations and legislation, and the overall business environment for trucking in Saskatchewan. The organization publishes a newsletter and related publications, provides training courses, and works in partnership with various organizations, such as Saskatchewan Government Insurance, and Workers Compensation Board, to promote safety in the industry. Additionally, the STA has maintained an affiliation with the Canadian Trucking Alliance (formerly known as the Canadian Trucking Association) since its inception in 1937.
