Hewitt Named President of Heil Trailer International

Athens, TN – Heil Trailer International (HTI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Hewitt to the position of Operating Company President, effective May 1, 2009.

Greg has 22 years of experience with diversified manufacturing across different industries both in the US and internationally. In the past year, he successfully led Heil’s North American Operations as well as Global Supply Chain, Product Management, IT, Customer Service, and Sales & Marketing.

Greg brings the leadership skills required to drive HTI performance and develop clear strategic plans for the markets served by HTI.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Previously Greg has held key leadership roles with Maytag Corporation, Textron, and Komatsu. He will be based at HTI’s corporate office in Athens, Tennessee.

Harris Named Corporate Business Development Manager
for Heil Trailer International

Athens, TN – Heil Trailer International (HTI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Harris to the position of Corporate Business Development Manager, effective September 11, 2009.

Bill brings immeasurable knowledge to the position, including a rich and varied experience in product development, marketing and sales and has worked extensively in the area of dealer and supplier partnerships.

As Corporate Business Development Manager, one of Bill’s key focus areas will be to continue Heil’s global expansion initiatives by securing strong long-term relationships and business development plans with supplier partners and business units, helping to ensure a positive customer experience for Heil’s present and future customers.

Before joining HTI, Bill served in a variety of management positions as an officer in the US Air Force. Prior to his current assignment with HTI, Bill was working with Heil’s Defense Products Group as the Military Business Development Manager.

Gerlach Appointed Director Supply Chain for Heil Trailer International.

Athens, TN – Heil Trailer International (HTI), the global leader in the manufacture of specialty tank and trailer products, announced today the appointment of Cory Gerlach as Director Supply Chain located in the Athens, TN corporate offices.

Gerlach brings more than 15 years of logistics, materials, purchasing and supply chain experience to HTI, having most recently served as Mastercraft Boat Company’s Supply Chain leader. Gerlach holds a Master of Business Administration-Finance from Saint Cloud State University, Saint Cloud, MN.
Gerlach will report directly to Greg Hewitt, President of HTI and will work closely with all domestic and international operations teams to enhance HTI’s competitive position through enriching supplier partnerships.

Heil Trailer International Announces New Assignments
for Lane, Yielding and Byrum

Athens, TN – Heil Trailer International (HTI), the global leader in the manufacture of specialty tank and trailer products, announced today the assignments of Robert Lane as Director Product Management, Bryan Yielding as Director Product Development and Mike Byrum as Defense Engineering Specialist in the Athens, TN manufacturing offices.

In his new post, Robert Lane will report directly to Greg Hewitt and will work closely with all domestic and international operations teams to significantly enhance HTI’s competitive product position.
Bryan Yielding will report to Lane and has accepted the critical role in the development, continuation, and successful launch of HTI’s new product development plan.

Mike Byrum will report to Kevin Tumlin and will work to strengthen HTI’s long-term relationship with the military.
Robert, Bryan, and Mike bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their new roles, intended to solidify HTI’s position for future growth in the decades to come.
